This years WTM was an incredilbe success with India as the official permier partner and 50,000 delegates negotiating 2.5 billion pounds in business deals. Reduced to 3 days it was slicker, more efficient and more productive than ever.
The World Travel Market 2016 in London opens on the 7th November with India as the lead partner. With over 4,000 exhibitors and 52,000 trade visitors its not to be missed.
The great Scottish India connection has an important role to play in the UK Tech Summit to be held in Delhi which will be opended by Theresa May and Mr Modi.
As we do annually we caught the ‘red eye’ down to London’s City airport to attend two frenetic days at WTM 2013 at Excel. City Airport is right next door on the banks of the old river Thames and it is all so convenient for us. 50,000 people from around the world converge for the four days of this vitally important travel mart annually. It is always inspiring and now that the UK is coming out of the financial depression there was a real air of optimism this year.
